It’s a simple, delicious dish that’s ideal for weeknight dinners but impressive enough for guests. Serve it with rice, mashed potatoes, or roasted veggies for a complete meal.

Ingredients

4 boneless pork chops (¾ to 1 inch thick)

Salt & pepper to taste

1 tbsp olive oil or butter

For the sauce:

¼ cup honey

3 tbsp soy sauce

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp apple cider vinegar or rice vinegar

½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

Instructions

Season & sear the pork

Pat pork chops dry and season both sides with salt and pepper. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear pork chops for 3–4 minutes per side, or until golden and cooked through (145°F internal temp). Remove and set aside.

Make the sauce

Lower heat to medium. In the same pan, add a touch more oil if needed, then sauté garlic for about 30 seconds. Add honey, soy sauce, vinegar, and red pepper flakes. Stir and simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.

Coat the pork

Return pork chops to the pan. Spoon the sauce over the top and let simmer for 1–2 more minutes, flipping once to fully glaze.

Serve

Plate with extra sauce on top. Pairs perfectly with steamed rice, green beans, or garlic mashed potatoes.
