OUR FAMILY STORY

Located in San Gabriel, Ca, Del Mar Meats is a family-owned and operated USDA meat processing and distribution facility, proudly serving our community since 1981. It all began in December of that year when Lee Celano—known to most as “Dad”—started the business with a strong work ethic, a vision for quality, and a whole lot of heart. From those humble beginnings, he built the foundation of a company rooted in honesty, tradition, and care.

In 1989, Lee’s son Paul joined the business at just 19 years old, quickly becoming an essential part of Del Mar’s day-to-day operations. As time went on, Paul’s sons, Dominic and Zachary, also came on board—marking three generations of Celano family dedication. Today, alongside a team of loyal and hardworking employees, we continue to carry on what Lee started: a deep commitment to serving our customers with the highest-quality custom meat processing and dependable service.

As we look to the future, our goal remains the same—to uphold the values on which our family was built and to grow through strong, lasting relationships with our customers. Our passion for processing quality beef, pork, and chicken hasn’t changed. We’re proud of where we’ve been and even more excited about where we’re going.
