
Pork Stir-Fry
Pork stir-fry is a quick, flavorful meal that brings together tender slices of pork with vibrant vegetables and a savory-sweet sauce. Perfect for busy weeknights, this dish delivers bold Asian-inspired flavor in just minutes. Whether served over rice or noodles, pork stir-fry is a crowd-pleaser that's easy to customize with your favorite veggies.
Ingredients
1 lb boneless pork loin or tenderloin (thinly sliced)
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp sesame oil
For the stir-fry:
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 bell pepper, sliced
1 cup broccoli florets
1 small onion, sliced
1 carrot, thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp fresh ginger, minced
For the sauce:
3 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp hoisin sauce (or oyster sauce)
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp honey or brown sugar
½ cup chicken broth or water
1 tsp cornstarch (mixed into broth to thicken)
Instructions
Marinate the pork
Toss pork slices with soy sauce, cornstarch, and sesame oil. Let sit for 10–15 minutes.
Prepare the sauce
In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, hoisin, vinegar, honey, and the cornstarch slurry.
Cook the pork
Heat 1 tbsp oil in a wok or large pan over high heat. Sear pork in batches for 1–2 minutes per side until browned. Set aside.
Cook vegetables
Add remaining oil. Stir-fry onions, carrots, and broccoli for 2–3 minutes. Add bell pepper, garlic, and ginger; cook 1 more minute.
Combine and finish
Return pork to the pan. Add sauce and stir-fry for 2–3 more minutes until sauce thickens and everything is coated.
Serve
Top with green onions or sesame seeds if desired. Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles.
